I have a spacious patio where I sometimes get together with friends, but I have a major problem: it's so large that the Wi-Fi signal either cuts in and out or doesn't reach there at all. So, how can I extend my Wi-Fi range so that both my friends and I can use it while out on the patio?

How can I extend the range of my Wi-Fi?
I put an access point in back bedroom so can get internet down back of the garden 👍

You can use a Wi-Fi range extender placed between your router and the patio. If the patio is very far away, a mesh Wi-Fi system or an outdoor access point may provide more reliable coverage. Also, place your router in a central, elevated position and keep it away from thick walls and metal objects.

I think I’ve got the general idea: I just buy a Wi-Fi range extender and place it in an elevated spot outside the house—in the yard—and that way, my Wi-Fi will reach the yard without any issues. Is that right?
