Did you find the 2005 series *The Office* funny?

Just to clarify, I’m talking about the 2005 version, since there are others from different years. I really liked it and it made me laugh a lot; honestly, every single episode is great—it’s really funny and entertaining to watch. Did you find it funny? Did you like it?

I did not sit down to watch it from the beginning to the end, I only watched snippets on Facebook. From what I watched I can say that I actually like it.

Yes, The Office has a unique kind of humour. 😂 The awkward situations, ridiculous workplace behaviour, and Michael Scott’s clueless decisions make it hilarious. Some scenes are so uncomfortable that they become even funnier.

Exactly—that’s precisely what the series tries to do: be so awkward and absurd that it makes you laugh. And it succeeds—it succeeds really well. 😂😂😂

American or UK? The UK version (which was first) was awesome with its super dry humour.

UK was 2001 I believe. I like both but the American one is funny as heck. It kinda dropped off at the end but still some great scenes here and there.

Best prank is Asian Jim. 🤣

I already clarified that; I’m referring to the 2005 version—the American one—where Steve Carell plays Michael Scott. That’s the version I like, and the one I’m talking about that makes me laugh a lot. I didn’t care for the UK version; I prefer the US version.

You didn’t actually clarify. You just said 2005 which given is over 20 years ago, you can understand why I asked :)

However I never really got into US Office but given it got more series than UK version, it shows it very popular so may give it a whirl :)
