Do You Regularly Update Old Blog Posts?

I reckon that many people believe that you should be publishing latest and updated information on your blog. This is one of the most crucial things, as updated information is something people actually love. However, I have read hat updating your blog posts on a regular basis could interfere with SEO of your website and you could lose ranking. What do you think?

No, actually I’ve rather neglected my own blog—I really ought to update it at some point—but for those who do have one, I recommend updating it three times a week with new content so that people have a reason to visit.

Many bloggers would rather put a disclaimer that states that the information on the webpage might be outdated. They would rather do this instead of updating the content of their big because they might think that updating the blog might affect their website SEO in a bad manner. This is also a good strategy, I must say.

I try to update a blog post once a month, and then again after a year has passed.

It’s important to do this so that the post stays evergreen and doesn’t expire.

I even delete some posts after a while if they serve no purpose anymore.

This seems quite logical to me; if the information has become unusable and completely outdated, then it’s a good idea to update it so that future readers don’t get confused.

I would rather delete an old post and publish a new one with great keywords. I may not waste my time trying to update an old one that no longer serves the blog or the visitors. This is why it is much much to publish a new post with updated information so that people may stay aware about it. This also helps a lot when it comes to keeping the blog updated with latest information.

I currently don’t own a blog, but i tend to update old forum topics on my forum that I’ve written.

I own one blog right now, and as much as I know I should be updating old blog content to ensure that the content posted is relevant and up to date, I know that I am lacking in doing that, and I could be making more effort to ensure that my content is still relevant and up to date.

I try to regularly go through blog posts that I have created on my blogs and attempt to update them, but after a while and when you have quite a few blog posts, you can often lose track, I have found, leaving some blog posts not being updated with fresher content.

This is something I feel AI or even a plugin would be perfect for, but I am not sure if it would be possible to create something to help blog owners keep blog posts updated. It would be awesome though if possible.
