Some people are afraid of flying—I don’t understand why, but they exist. Personally, I’m not afraid at all. I won’t deny that the first time I flew, I felt a bit of fear, but a few minutes into the flight, that feeling went away, and I’ve never been afraid since. I love flying! Are you afraid of flying, or is that not the case for you at all?

Are you afraid of flying?
I’m in the same boat as you - not afraid of flying at all! I actually really enjoy the whole experience, especially the views from above. I can understand why the height and lack of control make some people anxious, but once you realize how routine and safe air travel is, it’s smooth sailing.
I hope you're talking about a plane because I would be very afraid to attempt to actually fly 🤣
I don't mind being in a plane as flights around New Zealand don't take too long. I hate take off and landing though.

Not really.
I used to be, but reading the statistics certainly helps… the most dangerous part of a plane journey is the drive to/from the airport!
I am not afraid of flying at all. There is this majestic feeling that I have whenever I am able to fly. Just looking at the natural symmetry of the world from a very high altitude gives me some special feelings.
I love flying. It's my favourite means of transportation. It's fast, convenient and comfortable. I don't like wasting too much time in any means of transportation.
I am not that much afraid of flying because the chances of a plane getting crashed is still low nowadays as aviation safety has improved a lot in the recent years. Regardless of that, I think that there will always remain a safety concern and this is why I still get scared whenever I see plane taking off. This usually happens when I sit near the plane’s window seat and watch how quickly plane takes off from the ground. This is why it makes sense why so many people are afraid of flying.
I’ve only flew once (twice there and back) but it was a lot less scary then I expected personally.

Indeed, I think it’s pretty much factual that you’re more likely to be in a wreck on the highway than in an airplane.
With that being said, I was afraid of airplanes the first few times I was on them, but since then, I enjoy the scenery.
I know some people who are afraid of flying to the point that they actually fall sick. Personally, I am not afraid of flying.

I have sat near the window seat of the plane. Honestly speaking, I was not afraid when the plane actually took off so quickly from the ground. It seemed like something big was pulling us all from ground to the fly. I do not think that people who have height phobia should site near the window seat. I also have height phobia, but I know that being inside a plane is much safer than handing onto a building!

Right 🤣🤣 obviously I’m referring to an airplane—unless you actually have the power to fly yourself! If that’s the case, then the question for you would be different 🤣🤣🤣. And just to clarify, I wasn’t talking exclusively about short, domestic flights; I meant flights to other countries—long-haul flights. Though, given your answer about takeoff and landing, I think I get the idea.
