Something many forum owners do now is they will hire paid posters to create content on their forums. This can help a lot in building up content on a new forum, or in creating fresh content to keep the forum fresh and engagement high.

Do you hire paid posters on your forum for content? If you do, how often do you hire paid posters?

Yep. I have hired a few people. There are only 2 people I really trust and would hire again in the future, Heatman and Uptrend. I highly recommend both of them.

Trail Running Forum - A forum dedicated to trail running, gear, training, and more.

I have hired paid posters for my forums, however, I don’t hire on a regular basis, I hire them only when my forums lacks organic activities. I also hire when starting a new forum, especially during the launch phase.

I hire paid posters, especially when the forum is very new and there isn’t much content yet. Paid posters can help get some initial discussions going and make the forum look active. I wouldn’t want to rely on them forever, though, because the goal is attract genuine participation from real members.

I’ve never hired paid posters myself, but I do post exchanges with a few different communities. I also purchased posting packages on Forum Promotion, but I never paid real money to hire people. I don’t have the funds to do so unfortunately.

I think that it is a really great idea to hire paid posters. Paid posters could bring valuable content to your forum. This could increase activity on the forum. As a result of that, your forum becomes more active and it also ranks well on search engines. You get more traffic to your forum by the passage of time. Hiring paid posters increases activity on the forum. In the end, you will be able to use your forum for many other purposes as well such as advertisement and affiliate marketing.

Hiring of paid posters isn't bad when it comes to using those writers to boost forum activities. What's very important to have in mind would be not to depend on it 100% as the only way to add contents in your forum because it's cost intensive on the long run.

I've had my share of paid posters on my forums I've run and I really enjoy doing so.

PopFuse – Your hub for movies, TV shows, music, gaming, celebrities, and pop culture.

Community Interviews – Get to know the people behind online communities through interviews.

Bingely – Your blog for movies, TV shows, reviews, and entertainment news.

Gizmo Network – Where chaos meets creativity! Explore forums, websites, and creative projects.

I would like to hire some, but I’m going thru hard times right now economically.

Well, my idea is to hire a few for each forum and keep them posting for a year or two.

I think that this is a win-win situation for both forum owners and writers. Forum owners may get high-quality content and writers get paid for their efforts. Hiring paid posters open new opportunities for members to interact with each other. This could also help a lot when it comes to creation of new threads on a forum. As a result of that, you tend to get members who may participate more and more.
