A few years ago, I was running a news website. I started the news website because I found out that some people were earning a few hundred dollars per day. Sadly, I couldn’t bring in traffic. Therefore, I shut it down. Setting up a news website is as easy as creating a personal blog, but consistently producing fresh, accurate content is very challenging. You need many writers to update the site frequently. You need fast response times to new developments. It’s a very competitive niche and building traffic takes constant effort.

Have You Ever Run a News Website?
I tried to run a parody news site for the storm chasing community called “Chaser Soaps” way back when.
It was funny.
Like The Onion for storm chasing.

Running a news website is tedious work. You need constant content and speed because there are so many of them. You have to release the news before others do. Many people fail in that niche because they can't keep up with the trends.
I trired running a news website mostly for tech I barely had any traffic on the site

I wanted to do our own gaming news on my site but hard work for one and people would want paying for their efforts as a lot of work so not something I can do at present
