Do you publish sponsored posts on your blog or forum? When you publish sponsored posts, do you clearly mark it as sponsored or advertorial? I maintain a couple of blogs and forums.  I sometimes publish sponsored posts, especially on my blog, and when I do I mark it sponsored. However, when I accept sponsorship,  I ensure that it is relevant and readable within my niche.

I do publish sponsored posts on my social media pages, but I haven’t done them on my forums yet. It’s something I’ve been considering, though. I soon plan on launching a forum and one of the monetization options I have in my mind is offering sponsored posts..

I used to, but they’ve become so generic and the sponsor demands so much.

If they demand no sponsored label, then you should never accept it. That’s illegal in most countries - not to label sponsored content as sponsored. It’s a good way to get your domain registrar to suspend your domain name and your hosting service to end your hosting account.

You’re better off skipping generic sponsors.
