Hi all, my name is Amanda. The online world knows me mostly as Teg, Zimm, or Zimmbi.

I have know Gizmo for many years across a million forums and projects, so when he invited me, I joined.

Nice to meet you all.

We’ve known each other longer than I’ve known my partner. 😄 That’s over 10 years. 😮

I have met a lot of people through forums, a lot. There’s one person that I met when I was like 13 I’m almost 40. And we still talk almost every day.

It is truly amazing how many close friends one can meet online. And, damn the people who claim online friends aren’t real.

100% agree 😊 I’ve never understood people saying online friendships aren’t “real”. You can meet someone completely by chance online and years later they’re still a massive part of your life. Where you met doesn’t make the friendship any less genuine ♡

There’s another girl that I met on twitch when I first started live streaming. Day one she became my very first twitch moderator. We have talked on the phone at least three times a week for over 10 years. We have never met in person because we’re both chronically ill and can’t travel that far. However, if the opportunity presented itself, we would do it in a heartbeat.
