LonePortal is a Retro Intraweb! It has everything you need to browse an all in one site that looks and acts exactly like the old net! If you do not find something that you’re looking for, you can make it with our self hosted user sites! That’s right, you can make your own website to show up on our intraweb, and it will automatically be added to our build in Search Engine as well!
What all does LonePortal Have?
Monster Taming
TCG (Trading Card Game)
Custom Games (Games we made specifically for LonePortal)
Flash Games
Forums
Castyr (2006 Youtube)
User Sites (You can make your own sites)
Media (For easy, built in access to Y2K backgrounds, gifs, images, and more!)
Reading Room (Read public domain books, user made literature, or upload your own!)
Built in Search Engine (Find anything you may need on the site using our own built from the ground up search engine)
Shop & Marketplace (Spend site currency to upgrade your account, change the theme of the website, buy/sell/trade anything you get to include the TCG, Monsters, and more!)
Ads (Add your own LP ad to the site to display on the entire site! (Must be a LonePortal domain))
Oh, it’s also 100% free. LonePortal has absolutely no way to make profit from it what so ever and we’re planning on staying that way. The old net wasn’t built for profit. It was built for creativity, and the moment you monetize that, you remove the creativity, passion, and entire point of the old web! Our ads are free, built in website ads promoting aspects of LonePortal, we have no MTX or subscriptions, every customization is earned or purchased using LP$, anything that says “buy” means spending LP$ (Our site currency)
