Your Longest Running Forum?

I have been creating forums since 2004. It was after I found a technology forum while I was looking for information on something, and after using the forum over quite a few months, I gained interest in wanting to run my own forum.

From 2004 to 2009, I started creating my own forums, going through trial and error, until I created the first Chat Addicts, which I owned from 2009 to 2017, until I had to make the tough decision to close it and move on to something new.

8 years was my longest-running forum so far.

What forum has been your longest-running forum? How long have you been running that forum?

So far technically Thee Zone is the longest running forum I’ve had, if you count it when it was VG Challenges. I merged three forums together to create Thee Zone, but the one that was created first was VG Challenges in 2022.

Sonic Blast was created April 8 2006 and is still going. 20 years!

Great work, I’m a member there although I don’t use my Gizmo name 😛

Really… What name do you use there?

My local cycling forum is my longest-running forum.

I created it in December of 2023.

I had other forums before that, which were around for a long time, but then I took a few years away from running forums to “find myself,” and now I’m back, but I'm trying really hard not to create too many.

I have a 5-forum limit. I just made my 5th 😛, but that’s it. No more.

Either my Big Boards forum that was on InvisionFree before ZetaBoards or my current Jcink board that is nearing a decade old.
