Do you like working from home or going to the office?

A lot has changed with the way work is done. Nowadays, a lot of people prefer to work from home instead of going to the office. Are you that type that likes working from home?

My job doesn’t allow working from home, but if I had the choice, I would prefer it. This would save me a ton of money - currently, 10% of my income goes to fuel alone just to commute, and I also have to factor in the cost of food at work.

I’ve been self retired since I was 26 (I’m 32 now) and I have to say I have NEVER missed going into the office, or leaving my house. Not a single day. Working from home is the only way I will ever do it. I almost took a 160k job the other day because it was in home website building and I figured why not, but I was too lazy to fill out the application XD

I don't mind doing both as long as the pay is good without too much stress. Currently, I'm working at the office and I enjoy it.

Are you saying that if you've got a work that requires you working from home, you are going to leave the one that you are currently doing to pick the other one that needs you working from home?

Well, yes. But it depends on the payment of the newly offered job. I'm currently making more than the average here, so I need to get an offer that at least matches it.

I prefer working from home than going to the physical office. For one thing, there is no transport involved. I also don’t have to deal with annoying work mates.

Working from home is way better. You wouldn't have to worry about traffic, no transport cost, and you can work for comfort too. Although, there are distractions but it's still better than the stress of going to the office everyday.

Hybrid working for me.

I like going to the office once or twice a week (for the change of scenery, and because I prefer in-person meetings over Zoom/Teams meetings), but other than that, I prefer not having to commute!

Well, I think distractions at home are created by the person themselves. You just need to be focused on your tasks. You have all the comfort you need and you should use it to your advantage. You are still at work, just think of it as your own private office.

I prefer working from home; this way, I don't have to worry about what to wear each day. Though there are times when I might like to go out just to get a different atmosphere for inspiration while I work.

To be very honest, I now prefer working from home 90% of the time. I just need going to the office once in a week. It gives me peace working from home.

From home, obviously; I work when I want and how I want. The comfort of being at home is unbeatable, and since I’m also completely responsible, working from home suits me well.

As long as one is more productive working from home, I do not see the need not to focus more on that. I have always maintained the fact that what matters is what one achieves every day and not necessarily if they are working from home or office.
