I am really fascinated about the horror niche. It is one of the most mysterious niches out there. You can write about spooky stuff such as ghist, big foot, UFO, etc. There are just various different things you could write about. Having said that, starting a horror blog is not that easy. You need a lot of material and information to do that. So, what are your thoughts about this?

Horror niche is interesting but I don't think the audience are huge. Ghosts, UFOs, and mysteries are few of the areas in horror world. Don't just jump in without researching well and you also need to build a huge following too.

I think that targeting the audience could b a huge challenge when it comes to any kind of niche. Even though the niche of horror might not be the best of all niches, it still has a huge potential due to the fact that there are always people who are interested in this niche and they are always open to discussing ghost stories. Many people are also interested in discussing things about entities such as vampires, werewolves, witches, etc. You need to target people who are die hard fan of horror niche. This is the difficult part.

I think that you could get the right audience for this type of niche if you market and promote your forum in the right manner. You could potentially find audience on Facebook. You need to search for Facebook groups where horror and fiction are being discussed. There is a huge fan base of people who like fiction and horror genre. Perhaps you need to look in the right place.

Horror is a very niche genre, so to get started, you really have to like it; you’ll end up watching or writing about intense, classic horror movies that might be a bit traumatizing if you aren't into that sort of thing—unless, of course, you focus on a specific sub-genre that you actually enjoy and won't find disturbing.

I think that the niche of horror could be great if you are really into writing novels. However, not all the people are into writing long novels. Many people may write short stories. This is where the concept of short horror films on YouTube might have been invented. Regardless of that, horror niche is very interesting if you are a really talented writer.

Horror niche is interesting but it require a lot of research because you can run out of idea quickly. You also nwed to niche down. You either focus on ghost stories or UFOs.

It all depends on what type of horror. If it's horror movies and shows it would be easier to accomplish as a review blog. My main spotlight blog post at Bingely is currently for a horror show and I just themed the logo around that.

Horror niche is one of the most interesting niche. But if you go deep into it, it can mess you up. You will have sleepless nights if you are too deep into it.

Choose a niche, but try to narrow it down a little to make it unique and stand out from the rest of the related blogs in that niche.

Then you can become the main person known for that narrowed-down niche.

Decide who your audience is first. That way, you write for them right from the start.

Choose a good domain name, add a couple of cornerstone content categories, and create at least 10 high-quality, value-packed posts before you launch.

Schedule them to post once a week, and there you go- you’re 10 weeks ahead of schedule.

Open a few distribution channels, like a mailing list and social media, where your audience is. Don’t open more than 2 social media platforms for your brand at first.

Get your blog filled with content and traffic before you add any ads or affiliates. Try to create a product to sell that makes you more money.

Collaborate with other related blogs. Focus on being a social media influencer. Attend related conferences and events if you can. Get yourself and your blog name out there.

I think this would be a good strategy to start with.

Trail Running Forum - A forum dedicated to trail running, gear, training, and more.

First of all determine, what exactly do you mean by horror niche. Do you want to publish horror stories or do you want to publish about unsolved stories. Since you might lack your own experience or your first hand research, you will have to rely on secondary sources, and you might end up publishing duplicate content. try to come up with unique content
