We know that AI tools are becoming the new big thing. Many people are now using AI tools instead of searching for stuff online. Many people believe that AI might replace traditional search engines, as AI tools are capable of providing answers in a concise manner. So, do you really think that AI tools night replace search engines. Personally I do not think that this could be possible. AI tools themselves rely a lot on search engines.

Will AI tools replace search engines?
No because then ai will need SEO and ads and most of the ai your all ready paying for it.
With time, I believe it's possible. The only way I see search engines surviving is for them to create their own AI as well; this will bring in competition.
Google search already has AI in it.

I reckon that you are talking about Google's “overview" feature. Yes, it is an AI tool. However, I as ctually talking about other AI tools such as ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Claude, etc. All of these AI tools depend a lot on Google. Basically, these AI tools gather all the information after scouring search engines. These AI tools then present a collection of information which is based on search engines like google. OpenAI has stated HERE that its data is based on "information that is publicly available on the internet”. However, ChatGPT is somehow trained to analyse and collect authentic information from the internet or Google. This doesn't necessarily mean that it copies information. It just uses information on search engines as a source.
