What do you dislike about blogging?

There are many people who actually love blogging. They regularly update their blogs and they post engaging content on their blogs. However, there will always be something about blogging many people actually hate. For example, I really dislike competition. SEO competition is one of the really annoying part of blogging. So, what things do you dislike about blogging?

I do not dislike blogging per say. However, I really believe that blogging is not that easy. It is not just about competition. It is all about how much effort you out into it. Creating content and managing the blog is a really tiresome job and this is something that I dislike a bit. I have tried to create my own unsuccessful blog a few years ago. So, I know how difficult it is to start and run a blog.

That’s true, too; it inevitably takes up your time. You absolutely have to dedicate time to it—at least three times a week—to keep it active; it’s just another venture that requires a time commitment.

I don’t like blogging as much as I love running forums. I ran a blog back in the day, and it was just a simple space where I’d discuss things that I didn’t exactly cover on my forum.

I don’t see myself launching another blog though.

Many people dedicate several hours per day and they never get the desired results. Perhaps they might not be following the right strategy that may help them. However, even when you are following the right strategy, you may still struggle a lot when it comes to blogging. This is why it is always important to make sure that you know this fact before you start blogging.

Competition is the main thing I dislike the most. You see everybody blogging, so it's very difficult to stand out. The most annoying thing is that Google favours the big sites.

The SEO competition and google algorithm updates will give instant discouragement. You will spend three weeks writing clean article and tweaking, then one sudden update drops and crushes your site to the bottom of the search results.

Yes that seems to be true, there are a lot of competition in blogging, but if you have patience with time you must definitely stand out.

I’m not a fan of the editor on WordPress. I use DIVI and enable the classic editor.

I just need to sit down and learn it. That’s my problem.

It’s a Shawn problem LOL

I have been blogger for more than 15 years, and there is nothing I dislike. I started blogging on third party websites and then later started my own blogs. My revenue has dropped substantially in the last couple of years but I still enjoy blogging. There was a time when I was running as many as 20 blogs but now I have just one blog.
