A lot of people can attribute sleeping off while watching an interesting program on the TV to stress. Some would say that it is because the program is not exciting.

Have you had the experience of sleeping off while watching the TV? What would you say caused it?
If it's too late in the night like say around 2-3 AM, I'll most likely fall asleep. It also happens with me when playing video games deep in night. You simply can't cheat nature.
It's not too often I have fallen asleep whilst watching the TV and it usually only happens if I am overly tired and I am sat in say a warm room or under a blanket and my body is so tired it just shuts off. I find it hard to fall asleep with a TV going at the best of times so when I fall asleep watching something, I know my body needed the sleep.
If There is rubbish on I tend to fall asleep; more so if I don't have the remote handy;
Worst thing if I fall asleep watching a Movie Channel, Then wake up during the next movie and my mind is trying to connect the two;
Switch the TV of and go to bed I find is the best thing to do in that Situation.
