Which Forum Niche Is the Most Oversaturated?

When starting a new forum, it is always best to start a forum based on your interests rather than chasing what is trending or popular at the time, especially if you have no interest in a specific niche that is currently trending or popular.

Unfortunately, sometimes niches that you have an interest in can be oversaturated, meaning it would take being unique to make your forum stand out in the crowd.

What do you feel is the most oversaturated niche in the forum world at the moment?

I do not think that just because a niche is over-satyeated, it would mean that it is useless. It simply means that competition is fierce and the forum owner should be careful when it comes to running such kind of forums. A forum owner might need to use the right keywords and compete with others in the best way possible. I think that the niche of making money online is very much saturated. However, the demand of this niche I also very high.

Yes there are niches that you have an interest in can be oversaturated, This shows that before you thought about it others had already started. So meaning it would take you being unique to make your forum stand out in the crowd.. I think the most saturated niche is on gaming and lifestyle.

You can still launch in an over-saturated niche and still be competitive.

I’ll take my forum as example. Gaming is a huge over-saturated community, but on my site, I automatically pull your Steam & Xbox achievements, have all achievements in details, secret badges, xbox blogs and more. There’s only 3 other sites I know that pull achievement data and that’s TA, GTN and XA. So I’ve not just created a million other gaming forums, I’ve now created something only 3 other sites are doing (to my knowledge), so it’s about standing out in a crowded market.

But as far as I know, I’m the only site to pull both sets of achievement data on one site….
