How often should I post on my own forum?

It needs to be done naturally—perhaps one post a day or one every other day; posting three times a week on the forum is generally a highly recommended frequency.

I try to take a look to see if I’m the only one posting daily…and if that’s the case, then I slow down because a sea of my name when lurkers come isn’t a very good sign? Now, if I have other members posting, then I’ll definitely post at least once a day, and maybe more if there are good debates/discussions happening.

Yeah, also, being the only one posting on a forum—and being the owner of that forum on top of it—clearly doesn't look good, lol.

I try to post here and there. I don’t want to be talking to myself.

I would say that as a community leader and the owner of a forum, you should at least try to post on your forum once a day, replying to threads and also creating new threads so that there is something new for those who tend to come to your forum daily.

I usually have a list of topics that I can post about on my forum, and I post, say, one or two new threads- sometimes more if I have more ideas each day- and reply to any threads as well, and I feel that works really well.
