Both are portable, and you can do the same things on either one—though a tablet might be a bit more awkward to use due to the lack of a keyboard (even though you can add one), and the screen is usually smaller (depending on the specific tablet model). So, which do you prefer and why? Both have their pros and cons; I’m not sure if the battery life is the same for both, but what would you rather use: a tablet or a notebook?

I'll go with a laptop. I can do more things on it and I'm more used to Windows. Tablet is a thing that's nice to have, however, it's not necessary.

Laptop. A tablet is too small for my eyes.

A laptop, because it’s easier to code on a laptop than a tablet.

Depends on needs. For work related stuff a laptop but if I want to play Farmville or Homescapes I’m using a tablet

I prefer a laptop over a tablet. I can easily type with my laptop than on a tablet. And there are many online tools for designs that I can't use on my tablet. They are only accessible on laptops.

True—while you can connect a keyboard to a tablet (since there are keyboards made specifically for them), a laptop is more convenient for everything. Plus, it will obviously be more powerful, with a better processor and more RAM, and, technically, the battery will last longer.

Definitely laptop. I do have an iPad that I’m going to use for entertainment while I work though. 😂

But you can get a mouse and keyboard for your tablet to make it more comfortable to use—did you know that?
