What technology do you hate the most?

Technology has made our lives quite easier. Despite that, you will still find many people who kind of hate some kind of technologies. For example, many people believe that AI is bad. It is making humans lazy. In the past, many people also criticized the internet as well. There will always be people who would hate technology to some extent. So, do you also dislike some kind of technological advancements?

Sometimes I really dislike Bluetooth. 😂

It says that it’s connected, but it just doesn’t function properly. Sometimes it’s hard to establish connection at all, or the device suddenly vanishes after connection.

And then you have to disconnect it, reconnect, restart Bluetooth, or tinker around with the settings till it starts working. 😭

Bluetooth was created for convenience, but sometimes it creates even more trouble!

I think that engineers could improve the Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth connections could suck a lot of times. Sometimes it seems like you are successfully sending a file to the other device. However, in reality, the file fails to get transferred successfully to the other device in the end. These are one technical glitches that should be addressed. I believe that Bluetooth technology could be improved in the future. However, this requires engineers to create better hardware.

I don’t think I hate technology itself, it’s more when technology decides it knows better than me 😂 Self-service checkouts shouting “unexpected item in bagging area” when I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong is enough to send me over the edge haha 😄 As for AI, I actually think it can be really useful when it’s used as a tool rather than something to do absolutely everything for you. Technology should make life easier, not make us incapable of doing things ourselves ♡

Walmart has a new AI thing at checkouts.

If something drops on the floor at checkout (as far as I know, self-checkouts) where if something drops on the floor, whether from your hands or something falls on its own from the candy rack, they immediately must come over, take a picture of whatever, and then with another person watching, place it back on the shelf or your cart.

Yes, that is happening. And if its near you you have to stop and wait for them to clear whatever from their system.

They trust no one.

They trust no one 😭😂 I’d be scared to even breathe near the checkout in case the AI flagged me for suspicious behaviour! Ours shouting “unexpected item in bagging area” is stressful enough 😂

I’d say invasive surveillance technology. It can make people feel like they’re constantly being watched and raise serious concerns about privacy and personal freedom.

Surveillance on streets helps a lot to prevent crime and keep the population safe. But I can agree about invasive online spying and tracking - it’s something that shouldn’t exist. There are always apps that keep a record of everything we do, even if they say they don’t do it.
