Do you prefer a laptop or a desktop PC?

Over the years, I have had both desktop PC's and also laptops, and I will admit, I do love having the mobility and being able to be anywhere in my home and still being able to work with a laptop, but a desktop is also something I do like as well, especially since they are easier to upgrade if you need to.

Do you prefer a laptop or a desktop PC? What is the reason for your choice?

I prefer my desktop over laptops. I have 32 gigs of ram in my gaming rig, so it makes editing videos a breeze. Plus I can play a good number of games too. I do miss the convenience that comes with laptops. I still have a few laptops but they need to be cleaned.

It doesn't matter to me really - because certain desktops are just as portable as laptops. For instance, the last desktop I owned was HP and it was incredibly portable!

That depends on what I’m using it for. I don’t travel much, so I’ll always stick with a desktop PC. It provides much more value for my money, and it’s far more powerful. I need to have good performance, especially when I’m playing demanding video games. But I use a laptop at my workplace, and I’ve gotten used to it. There’s just a different feeling when I use a laptop for office work.

Having a bigger screen is also one of the reasons why I prefer desktops. Since I do a lot of gaming, and mostly competitive, I always have to be focused on the screen. Having a large monitor definitely causes less eye strain (even if that sounds completely untrue) and helps me spot enemies more easily. I’m currently using a 27” monitor.

I hav been using a desktop right form day one of my computer journey Since I am a home body I do not have the need of a laptpp which is normally used if when needs to carry it wherever they go.

A lapatop is only for those who are not in one place and need a device to work on wherever they are It has its plus and minus points specially if it needs charging and you do not have it around.

I have a desktop PC as well as a laptop but I like to work on my laptop. That’s because I can use my laptop anywhere I want, also I do not have to worry about losing data due to electricity cut. (I don’t have UPS for my desktop PC)
