Working on my own blog

I’ve started developing my own blog software.

It’s actually a way to teach myself programming. So, it will be a slow process for sure.

If I realize I like doing it, I might invent new blog software to start using and get away from WordPress.

A good custom in-house blogging software sounds pretty cool.

I might even offer it open-source, as well.

I’ll definitely help test it out when it’s at that stage 😄

I hope you will be able to create something useful and something unique. if you offer your software as an open source, I am certain you will get a lot of users. I am certainly interested in trying your software, maybe you could add a feature that makes easy to transfer out from wordpress

I see your up to something special.

It would be great if your software could allocate for more than one blog per user. That would be a game changer. Just a suggestion. I’ll definitely give it a try. Keep us posted. I just recently made a brand new blog for myself & its buzzing. Best of luck!

I too would help test it out when you get to that point. I too am working on my own project that will contain custom blog application, forums, courses, point systems, eventually virtual store. I’m building it all from scratch, the front end and back end. It’s not easy to do so I applaud anyone willing to take that jump, especially to learn a new skill!

I would love to go thru with a project like that - but the problem is that I couldn’t be so sure it would be successful - either commercially or even to give away - even if it was high quality.
