I dislike the fact that social media is becoming a kind of menace to the society. It’s hard to regulate, especially for the young ones that should not be exposed to that life yet.

There are also other issues like the spread of misinformation, phishing etc.

I dislike how they've taken over forums.

I don’t like how mean people can be because they think they’re anonymous or they don’t realize how their words come across to others. Most people would not say the things that they say online to other people…even though there are a few that actually would. I wish social media was a kinder place.

A couple of things,…

I dislike how people have gone from thoughtful posts, down to simple one-liners.

I dislike how Social media has removed much of peoples ability to do easy critical thinking.

I am sure there is good stuff out there, but there is so much more waste posts and trash info pushed into it.

Algorithms, death of passion, clout chasing, death of community interaction, birth of normies flooding the internet. Outside of Myspace every social media since has kind of plagued the internet and slowly turned it into the cesspool it is now (In my very honest opinion rofl)

There’s no control over the toxicity of haters, and the algorithm is more interested in showing toxic content than harmless stuff—I mean, once it gets used to your preferences, that stops happening, but it’s absolute garbage that any new user gets shown such trashy, toxic videos, and it’s also garbage that there’s no logical limit placed on the haters' toxicity.

One thing I dislike most about social media is the lies. We have so many people pretending to be who or what they are not; we have those who spread wrong information and rumors; we have the ones who would just believe anything they see there and repost.

Well, people no longer interact with each other in a physical manner due to social media. They prefer to communicate with each other on social media rather han interacting with oeach other in a real manner. This is something that concerns me about social media. Moreover, social media is nowadays used to spread misinformation a lot.
