Gaming is betting on a particular outcome that can either multiply your money or erase it totally. So gamblers are risking their money to make more, and this happens on rare occasions.

The house always wins, even if you think you are winning, you can eventually lose it all back. There are many people that the been wrecked by gambling, so it’s not something worth engaging in.

What do you think?

Gambling is something I have never tried before, and I honestly do not have any plans to try it. My biggest fear is getting addicted to gambling.

I do it rarely, and with strict risk management—for instance, if I have $1,000, I use a maximum of $50 and bet $5 or $10, depending on what I decide to wager. That’s generally how I handle it, and only with sports betting, where I have a chance of winning.

I never gamble, it’s not something I’m willing to risk my money on. I would rather invest them. But I’ll admit I’ve tried my luck with a few lottery tickets back in the days. $5 was the biggest amount I’ve won.

Right, you're doing the right thing. If you want to make money betting, you need a strategy—and, most importantly, risk management that is much stricter than with investments. Basically, you have to treat the money you allocate for betting as already lost. You should never do what those idiots do—putting half their total capital or their entire bankroll into a single bet—because you'll most likely lose it.

I think the two most important things are being patient and having a plan PLUS having enough capital. If you gamble, you should start with a small amount of money - if you win, you just start from the smallest amount again. But if you lose, you need to put double of what you’ve already bet and do that until you win a round, then reset to the smallest amount.

Never! Instead of me using my hard earned money to gamble, I would rather go to a very fancy and expensive bar and have an expensive drink with the money.
