If You Could Bring Back One Discontinued App, Website, or Technology, What Would It Be?

Some apps and websites were such a big part of our lives that we didn't realize how much we'd miss them until they disappeared. If you could bring back one discontinued app, website, or piece of technology, what would you choose? And what made it so special that today's alternatives just don't compare?

Limewire was fun on crap Internet 🤣

One software that I actually wish t bring back is Skype. I really enjoyed making Internet calls using Skype. I just have a very nostalgic feeling about Skype because it was the app that I used to sustain my best ever relationship which was long distance.

I would bring back WriteLearnLearn. It was a content marketplace where you could easily sell articles. They used to pay an upfront payment for articles. They were awesome. Apart from that, I would also love other online writing websites where people used to get paid a good sum of money per article. Those websites were really awesome.

Skype would be my choice too! I loved Skype and how convenient it was, and when Microsoft announced they were closing the service, I couldn’t believe it. For them to have bought Skype and then close it later was such a shame.

I now use Discord for video calls and voice calls, but their overlay for video is so big!

Another I wish I could bring back was MySpace. I love MySpace, and that was back when social media was fairly new for everyone, and there was less drama on social media. I don’t think we have ever had a social media site like MySpace, but I would love to see it back.

I will bring back 2go. I met so many people there, especially girls. When that app was reigning, I just graduated from the university. So, I had enough time to chat with girls. 😂😂It was a nice app.

Oh! That's the old BBM messenger. We use to collect each BB pin back in the day. We call it pinging back then. It's funny that Blackberries are totally useless now. They use to be the big deal then
