A game series that sought to compete with GTA—it started off well, but then it seems they lost their direction. I haven’t played the most recent one, but I have played 2, 3, and 4. I have to say that Saints Row 4 is my favorite; I find it legendary and incredibly fun—it feels like that’s where they truly unlocked their full potential. In fact, if you’ve never played any of them, I’d recommend jumping straight into the fourth one—it’s the best of the bunch. But have you ever played a Saints Row game? If so, which one was it, and what did you think of it?

Played 3 the most I think. I played newest thinking was a reboot but was a prequel IIRC, but feel free to correct me. I enjoyed the game to a point. The main story was super short but had a bit more of a GTA feel.

I have played all of the Saints Row games, including Saints Row 1, which was the very first Saints Row game I played.

As much as I loved Saints Row 3 and played it quite a bit after its release, nothing compared to Saints Row 1 and the game modes it has, such as Pimp My Ride.

Saints Row 4 I felt lacked quite a bit, and as much as I did start playing it, I could never fully get into the game, just never felt like a Saints Row game.

I personally haven’t, but my hubby is a fan! He got really far, or maybe completed it. I really enjoyed watching him play it!
